In this talk I will cover how successfully led a 100% virtual team to deliver a major Data Center migration project. I was the 5th program manager to take the reins and this was a complex, highly technical project which was working to an aggressive deadline. Not only did we successfully complete project, but it won an award from Microsoft and was recognized as an exemplary project. I will share the changes I made to the project organization and approach, and how I tweaked my leadership style to increase engagement, build momentum, and create a strong culture that had people not only productive but taking accountability and ownership which were critical to our overall success.
